Sam Ruby’s Open Web

Based on discussions so far, it looks like the offer would be to work for Omri Gazitt, or possibly John Shewchuk.  We’ve discussed a number of possible roles, most of them focusing on Open Web activities, either advocating their increased and correct use within Microsoft, and/or engaging in Open Web communities on Microsoft’s behalf.

America’s Network

Our Network

How did the country that created the Internet fall to 17th place in broadband adoption?

The Telecoms haven’t provided adequate service to all Americans, yet they and the powerful investors who control their mountain of debt have been spending frantically to stop the Stimulus package. The Republican members of Congress voted unanimously against the interests of the American people and with the Telecoms who are responsible for the abysmal state of our nations network.

Innovation and ideas can come from anywhere and we need to insure that every hilltop, valley and plain of our great nation is wired and ready to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

Win a Lenovo IdeaPad S10

Windows 7 beta install

I installed the Windows 7 beta on a Lenovo IdeaPad S10 from a thumb drive and was amazed that it took under 20 minutes and all the drivers were found after an update on the Web.

The only problem occurred at the first and second reboot, the install could not locate the boot file so I had to lift it in place by going into Safe Mode where it quickly found the file.

I’m Giving this Lenovo IdeaPad S10 netbook away on Groundhog Day, Follow moon on Twitter and just RT @moon 3 times and be the first to RT a selected Tweet on Groundhog Day  Good luck!
