I’m sitting here beside the Twitter stream watching a world of information flow by and because I follow Techmeme I got a link to the Windows Live Dev blog with the news that they have partnered with some of the world’s top social networks on contact data portability, but they forgot to add Twitter and that’s where the influencers are brainstorming right now.

Microsoft recently published a set of Interoperability Principles. Thinking about IE8’s behavior with these principles in mind, interpreting web content in the most standards compliant way possible is a better thing to do. The IE Team think that acting in accordance with principles is important, and IE8’s default is a demonstration of the interoperability principles in action.
